Eco House Casa 205 by H Arquitectes

This interesting house made of wood, was designed by the architects of H Arquitectes and built in the suburbs of Barcelona. The architects sought to create a project that would be minimally impacted on the environment, would have beautiful views of surrounding countryside, and would also be made from natural and completely safe materials. As a result, Casa 205 blends so well with the surrounding landscape that it looks like a natural extension. The house was build on a natural rocky platform, so it was important to reduce weight of construction and the laminated wood was an optimal solution. The interiors, as well as the facade, are fully decorated with wood that even looks a bit unusual for the modern trends.

Ping Pong Design: Box/Box by Snarkitecture

The unique interior design Box / Box was presented by Snarkitecture. Located in Brooklyn, New York, this tiny studio is located in the loft above the office. This "box" is kind of experimental project that was completed into two months, and the cost of interior design was just under $ 9000. A ladder leads there from the ground level through a hatch hidden in the floor. There is only bed and shelves in the room, so the owner can have a rest here and think in silence. A key element of the design is certainly 25.000 ping-pong balls, which decorated the walls around the perimeter. Color gradient from dark to light, illumination on the ceiling and counter mirrors on opposite walls allow to visually expand the space.

Contemporary Mad Parks Residence in Seattle, Washington

Mad Parks residence is an unusual modern house, designed by Vandeventer + Carlander Architects. It?s home for happy family in which everyone is fan of contemporary art and seeks to create a modern art museum inside. The facade is made of various materials - there are many windows, cedar from Alaska, which gives a more classic look, as well as metal, sharply contrasting with the other materials. So the residence is separated into several parts that make its structure very unusual. Inside the house you can see many interesting details: paintings, sculptures, original decorative elements. It seems that almost every thing here is unique.

Minimalist Concrete Residence in Minamiyama by Tomoaki Uno

This unusual and somewhat strange house was built by the Japanese architect Tomoaki Uno. The building is almost entirely made of concrete and looks rather unwelcoming and cold. The house is situated on a sloping site and the entrance is at the level of the third floor. So the construction, safely sheltered from curious eyes, provides privacy. The house has few windows, so its interior is not too bright because of the use of concrete and reminds a dungeon. But the construction really impresses with its tremendous size, clean modern lines and minimalist as in the exterior and in interior design.

Villa G by Saunders Architecture

Villa G is an interesting house with a white facade, which was designed by Saunders Architecture company in Norway. It seems the house consists of multiple volumes interconnected randomly and looks futuristic. In the interior decoration advantage has been also given to the white color, which is well-complemented by individual accents of brighter colors. So the interior of the house is quite contrasting and modern. Description from architects: ?The house is large yet not dominating, modern but not pretentious. The house has a futuristic form but is built with traditional Nordic materials and architectural elements with a good basis in Norwegian building methods?.
