Modern Villa Eindhoven by De Bever Architecten

The Modern Villa Eindhoven is situated in the Netherlands between the neighboring backyards and a public parking lot. Interesting fact, that it’s practically invisible from noisy street. The exterior of two-storied house is clad in white plaster. Lots of panoramic windows create a contemporary look and let us see children playing. It was used a lot of luxurious materials in interior, such as black ebony wood , huge aluminum frames. On the ground floor there is a living room, a kitchen and an office chamber. Unusual partition between the private sleeping rooms and the living rooms is designed as a long black cabinet wall, running through the whole house. Bedrooms, laundry room and playrooms are situated on the higher level.

More about Christmas Tree

Winter Holidays are coming soon and this is one more article about Christmas. Let’s be creative! To create a one-of-a-kind tree, choosing unique Christmas lights, color, shape or decoration items is good to start. I’m going to describe several unusual Christmas tree ideas. You can see them on pictures bellow. To my mind, the most original bottle tree is on the second one. You can also use fruits or candies in decoration or just choose main color for Christmas interior. And some words about an upside down Christmas tree. You can get more presents under the tree like that! But it's actually not so new. Hanging fir trees upside down goes back to the Middle Ages, when Europeans did it to symbolize the Holy Trinity.

It situated in The Amstel River in Amsterdam and was designed for the specific needs of owner. His desire was to have an open plan and the best view of the water. The curved lines of the facade are followed by this requirement. The kitchen is open and gives a panoramic view over the Amstel River and cozy terrace. On the ground level there is also a living area and a bedroom. Going upstairs you’ll find bathroom, study and other necessary rooms. To accentuate the round front lines of the exterior it is decorated with shiny aluminum. The white-plastered interior walls and ceilings create a seamless passage from outside to inside.
