The Minlab of the Danish Government
Denmark has been always the country of the freedom of expression and fantasies. And new fresh ideas are usually supported by the government. And this object is not the exception. The Minlab is a meeting facility, organized by the Danish government and designed by “easyoffces”, located in the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs in Copenhagen. The aim of the whole internal design of the minlab is to achieve a successful work and ease of the exposition of ideas. The main construction is a conference room made in a shape of tank-like-egg. Inside of the room all the walls, floors and ceiling are colored in white and represent the board to write on it. Thus, this design is ideal for meetings. Now we can be sure that a Danish government’s job will not be stifling and boring.

Olafar Eliasson's Rainbow Panorama
Olafar Eliasson, artist and designer from Denmark, has realized into the life one of the brightest natural phenomenon. Rainbow – the most beautiful and fairy consequences of the rain – we can see now at the ARoS museum in Aarhus (Denmark). This installation called “Your rainbow panorama” is a tunnel which consists of colored glass panels. At night is lit by spotlights in the floor. We can imagine this tunnel like our way along the life. Hi-tech existence has thrown us off the colorful nature and this installation let us use this tunnel to recollect that life has different colors, not always bright, but always essential. The artist himself hoped to blur the limits between the art and what is a part of the museum.

Growing Tables by Austrian Designers Perludi
It’s always difficult to choose convenient table and chair for a child. Children become higher with every month and it’s not good for them to use the same furniture. Austrian furniture designers Perludi have introduced an adjustable table CASPAR for children, which is designed to be able to grow in height. The design and form of the table are very simple but pursue the philosophy of ergonomic, versatile and environment-friendly children’s furniture. In combination with a solid-wood tabletop colorful legs impart an infantine look to the table. The legs are placed into the tabletop and secured with rings made from natural rubber. To adjust the height you can simply slide the legs up or down within their holes. The construction is very simple and genial. Such design is very important from the perspective of renewable resources and short transport routes for a low carbon footprint.

Kimchi and Chips: "assembly" installation
Due to “kimchi and chips”, an experimental art & technology Seoul (South Korea) studio, we can watch a real miracle of living lights. This composition called “assembly” uses a set of 5,500 white blocks hanging from above and 5 high-res cameras connected to a computer sequence, scanning the cubes with structured light. The combination of these technologies produces a habitat for digital forms to exist in our real world. Presence in such room gives an affect of mystery and mystic. The philosophy of “kimchi and chips” can be seen from the next statement: we create installations, products and services that bridge the gap between people and people, people and technologies, people and nature.

Smart work centers from “Two designers”
Twodesigners (Jonathan Honvoh & Rodrigue Strouwen) have invented three essential and very useful work centers. They are:  an adaptation of the house (for the meetings and sharing), telephone and computer booth (for intimate communication) and the carton (item at school used to separate the benches when it’s requires). All of these work centers are connected by the philosophy of SMARTWork  “green” center, namely: each item is made of durable materials like wood, which gives a warm natural character but doesn’t change “the technological spirit” of the centers. Twodesigners offer not fixed and rigid solutions but rather series of free items, each of them can be presented as separate item or be coupled to another to form a new set.

Furniture made of cork by Jonathan Honvoh & Rodrigue Strouwen
What can be done of simple cork? Usually the biggest benefit of cork is our memories of good taste of wine. But Jonathan Honvoh and Rodrigue Strouwen, two space designers, have invented another use of this simple thing. Their work is their own poetry - both fun and offbeat. Apart from the design of space in the strict sense, “TwoDesigners” make objects based on the connection of different elements. They propose to make furniture of two elements made of cork and joined by metal hoop. The use of cork has several advantages. The elastic properties of cork allows producing the joins without screws or adhesives. Each block is reconstructed from waste production of wine corks, so it represents an economy of raw material. Elements of interior made of cork are multifunctional and modular.
