Beautiful Landscape Design by Lutsko Associates

Without charming green garden this private house called SF Residence in San Francisco would remain an ordinary house. The landscaping project was realized by design studio Lutsko Associates, and everything has changed. As we can see on the plan, the garden divided into three interconnected green "rooms" with very high walls and no roof. Because of this, the plants are getting enough sunlight. Talented designers were able to turn this place into an oasis among the shady but bright corridors where it?s pleasant just to walk and forget about the city. Partitions of frosted glass, ornamented tile and small decorative pond add luxury.

The 700 Palms Residence by Ehrlich Architects

This outstanding project, designed by specialists of Ehrlich Architects and located in California, was called 700 Palms Residence. Thanks to extensive glazing this large house seems very light and almost weightless. But sustainability was a major concern, so architects used concrete flooring to absorb the sun?s warmth in the winter, operable windows and large sliding doors to facilitate natural ventilation and low-maintenance recycled materials. Customer of the project wanted to get a modern and elegant accommodation, which would have high connection between the interior and beautiful garden. And the walls, entirely made of glass, look simply amazing, dissolving the barriers between indoors and outdoors. The facade is made of steel and it was also the wish of the owner.

Grass Sculptures at the Invisible Dog Gallery

These amazing sculptures were exhibited in Brooklyn, New York, at the Invisible Dog Gallery. They are made of soil with wheat seeds applied to the skeletons of recycled metal. Wheat grows over time, constantly changing the way the sculptures look. At the pictures wheat grass is green and short, but we wonder how the sculptures would look when it’ll grow more and eventually become yellow. This creative idea belongs to the mixed media artist Mathilde Roussel-Giraudy and her envelope is that what we eat becomes a part of our being. The food impacts on every part of our body and mind.
