Unique lounge

VIP WING Lounge by Erich Gassmann and Tina Aßmann
Designers Erich Gassmann and Tina Aßmann have completed the interior of VIP WING Lounge at Munich Airport. Bavaria is famous for its unspoiled nature of countryside and pulsating modern city life simultaneously. This combination of tradition and progress is reflected in the work of designers. The recreation area of VIP WING Lounge is located in the south wing of Terminal 1 and covers an area of 1,200 sq.m. High quality materials, traditional to this region, such as oak, felt and leather were used in the decoration. This is a real haven of peace and quiet in a noisy airport, where you can relax, take a shower, eat and work productively in a separate room.

Unique Handmade Transforming Oven Lounge

Does this look like an old ugly oven? Well that’s not it anymore. This oven has been redesigned by students from the University of Cincinnati's DAAP design school. It doesn’t cook anymore, but it transforms to a nice and extremely comfortable lounge. It accommodates a single person and is perfect to watch TV or read the book. When closed the side drawer hides custom made cushions with cinnamon swirl pattern. Unfortunately the only existing oven lounge was sold from Etsy recently, but who stops you to take this idea and make your own unique lounge?
