Standing lamp

Standing Lamp by Floris Wubben
This unique standing lamp, designed by floris wubben from Netherland has been easily transformed from a tree branch. The natural view was saved by minimal modifications with a real wood. At the bottom of the lamp the branch is split into three parts giving stability to the construction. Lamp-shade is made of the bark which is almost totally pealed from the branch and twisted in a needed form in tension. The final form of the lamp depends on the natural branch's form. So the final product is a unique result of the design work. The lamp is very good for a cottage or country house.

Standing lamp XIII by Calabarte
Polish sculptor Przemek from Calabarte has created lamps which are made of gourd. The gourd is an annual tropical vine originating in Africa and Asia. Usually this material is used for special vessels for tea mate. But it's so boring to be traditional for real artist. Standing lamp XIII from Calabarte is a stunning hand-made piece of furniture. Natural materials and high quality finishing make them invaluable.  Be sure, the shape of the fruit is determined by nature, and the framing created manually, so each lamp is unique. Look on the pictures bellow, and you''l see how this item could create a magic romantic atmosphere in each interior.
