Beautiful house

Architects of Ike Kligerman Barkley have recently completed the work connected with the reconstruction of this large beautiful home, located in Connecticut. The project was called Lookout House. Originally, the building at this place was built in 1979 and home owners wanted to preserve its original structure, but expand the available space and make it more modern and convenient. The old part of the house, situated under cone-shaped roof, has undergone minimal changes, and new cube part was build next to the old. The space between these two parts of the building is connected by a glass corridor. Now the place is more than enough, and owners even have two beautiful pools, inside and outside.

Hunsteigen Nature Lodge is a very unusual house, situated in the beautiful mountainous area surrounded by spectacular views of nature. This project was designed by the company Logg Architecture and located on the bank of mountain river in Norway. This beautiful modern house with clear shapes and extensive glazing is located in Montauk, New York. Art and Surf Residence was designed by Steven Harris Architects and situated very close to the ocean shore. 426 square meters inner space includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, spacious living room with fireplace. The beautiful and modern house was built at the edge of one of the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Named Villaluse, residence was designed by Studio WPA and located in Port Washington. The customers of this interesting house dreamed of living away from the city in a quiet and peaceful place. The house has several bathrooms, bedrooms, living room, kitchen and mini-bar. Extensive glazing of the walls allows to admire the beauty of nature without leaving the house, but if you want to get some fresh air, you can go to the balcony that encircles the house almost around the perimeter. This contemporary house resembles a ship, which is anchored in this place and ready to go to the next trip at any moment.

The main idea of Guz Architects was to create the hi-tech house close to the nature. The Cluny house that is in the centre of the project is spiritualized by water and plants that surround the pavilion and give the impression of the real nature in every bit of the house. Speaking about technologies the house is equipped with state of the art EIB systems, photovoltaic cells, solar water heaters and security systems; they are integrated discreetly and work with the natural environment of the house rather than against it. The designers managed to show a combination of technology, careful planning and sensitive design. The house looks very beautiful and relaxing and in the same time it is functional and modern.
