The most extraordinary and ingenious ideas, as usual, come to mind instantly. Just like in our today's example of this wonderful airy upholstered furniture assembly. Soft clouds, floating over the country, were the source of inspiration for the author - Lubo Majer. The gentle shapes of the clouds with amazing precision have been reflected in the forms of furniture CIRRUS. Curved shapes except of their irresistible attraction are very soft and comfortable. The furniture made of few elements: rigid OSB frame, high quality flexible PUR foam and sinuous spring system for the seat and backrest. The assembly includes a comfortable sofa, pouffe and a coffee table with a mirrored surface.

'l'écume des jours' is a small table with functions of libraries and storage created by Paris-based designer Elsa Rande. The colorful plastic craft wire usually used for knitting and weaving, plays here the role of a flexible separator system for books. As a result we can see a playful library in appearance, attracting attention with its colorfulness. l'écume des jours can be used as a table, while their combination can be transformed into a really great library or storage system. If you want to change your awareness of the stability, then you should take a look at the '<3 Side Table'. Nowhere else you will find a table with only two legs and there should be no doubt of its stability. Technically it is possible due to bent tubular steel leg with the two points contacting with a floor. Except its extraordinariness, the table is so elegant and light, like a performing a rotation ballerina, elegantly and coquettishly bending her leg. As a result the table is asymmetrical and its outward appearance depends on view angle. The designer of the table is Jonathan Sabine from Toronto.

&ABILITY table by Alberto Fabbian is a combination of everything that you need in the kitchen. There are lampshades, bowls, wicker baskets and ceramic vases in the assembly, which can be added by your own items as well. The majority of items is made of oak wood. All the objects have their own purpose, though combined in a single construction, as if to emphasize their common final objective. The individual components can be combined as it needed, depending on what you are going to do. The work was created in collaboration with Antoniazzi & Piovesana, 3B Ceramiche and Bosa Ceramiche during the CASA EUROPA project– Euro Decennial.

Collection of ethereal lamps, created by designers from Nendo (Japan), is traditional and topical at the same time. Traditional Japanese lanterns look absolutely in a different way in the implementation of these designers. A common barnyard material became new structural and design material to create "Farming-Net Collection". Barnyard net, which is usually used to protect fruits and vegetables from the wind or animals, is stronger and more flexible than wire frame. Lamps spread a soft light in the style of traditional Japanese paper lanterns and sway under a light breeze. The Farming-Net collection also includes vases and tables. The entire line was presented at the Maison & Objet.

But what we knew about such furniture earlier has nothing in common with what Sang A Choi has invented. Korean designer has managed one piece of furniture - Badac - to combine with functions of four different furniture items that are crafted into eight pieces. Each piece can be detached from the general construction, when necessary, and can be used independently. So the Badac is the perfect solution to someone who lives alone or in a small area room. Like a transformer, it can be turned upside down, allowing you to use it as a shelf, a lamp, a coffee table and two seats. Turning several parts or excluding some of them from the general construction, Badac can be transformed into a single bed or a large seat. On top of that it is a perfect piece of furniture for your fantasy, which will certainly allow you to come up with even newer purposes for it.
