Library and Digital Hub in Queensland (Australia) was built by Brewster Hjorth Architects right in the existing slope, and the whole construction of the buildings creates a bridge. The gracious bridge links the Butter factory Art Gallery and the main city street. The building consists of two curved pavilions. The pavilion in the west is a dug built into the slope and covered with a grass roof. To the north the eastern pavilion extends out of the ground where the community lounge, café, and reading areas are located.

This T-house, located in the centre of Tokyo, was planned especially for a couple (designed by Hiroyuki Shinozaki Architects). Extraordinary design and chaotic arrangement of the rooms is very suitable for people who don’t like commonness. There are some holes in the walls and floors to connect the rooms together. The very top level has four holes in the floor which give the room a cross-shaped layout. Small ladders connect rooms and a staircase with shelves inside leads up from the studio on the ground floor to the dining room. Inside of one of the holes there is an area for study, the ceiling of which is used as a desk on the floor above. Many of lamps of different height hang from the top to illuminate every room. General view of a house gives the impression of rather open and free space, maybe not enough secure for free movement inside, but very peculiar and interesting. 173 Park Street Residence is a modern townhouse, "dressed" in a timber of cedar. The project was designed by Joeb Moore + Partners from Greenwich. Three-story residence with an area of ??490 sq.m. is located in New Canaan, Connecticut, USA. The house includes four bedrooms and six bathrooms, but its main feature is a large terrace, situated on the roof, with two swimming pools. Among other pleasant elements we can notice three fireplaces, lift, whirlpool, and a garden with terraces and a fountain. "Green" technologies as solar panels and water heaters, as well as its cleaning systems demonstrate high efficiency, so the project was awarded a silver LEED certificate. The mansion was put up for sale in 2009 for $ 4.95 million, but it still has not found a happy owner and now you can get it for $ 3.95 million.

Australian studio Popov Bass Architects completed work on Mosman House in 2010. This modern three-story mansion is located in Sydney. The idea was to create a simple and calm design that blends into the surrounding landscape. The residence features five bedrooms. On the first floor there is a children's playroom and a garage. On the second floor you’ll find a seating area and master bedroom. The library is situated on the top level. As for decoration, the rough concrete walls are replaced by subtle wood finish, panoramic windows and mainly light interior make the house bright and cozy.
