This unusual lamp was created by Patrick Jouin who is one of the major protagonists of contemporary design on the French and international scene. Natural motifs are often used in art and design. Flower bud has inspired the creation of this original lamp. MGX made The Bloom Table Lamp with a polyamide that can expand and collapse. Accordingly, you can transform the shade from a bud to a blossom and regulate lighting, making it brighter for work or subdued for romantic evenings. This cool table lamp released as limited edition of 99 pieces. For more information check the site.

These great lamps were designed by Christian Vivanco of Barcelona for the Spanish company, Almerich. The original idea came to Christian when he was observing the iridescent varied colors and constant floating of the seaweed. The lamp consists of two layers of transparent acrylic – one colored and one white, concealing the lamp. The light gets diffused and refracted, changing it’s color depending on the point from where you look at it. The wide selection of colors make these lamps great for most contemporary interiors, providing soft indirect lighting for cozy and subtle atmosphere.
