It's hard to believe, but even the furniture can be sexy. The showroom La Perla presented its collection of furniture items in the Fuori Salone during Milan Design Week. As we know La Perla is an Italian brand of underwear, which guarantees excellent quality and beautiful design. In the pictures below you can see some examples of designers’ mastery. Collection is made using silk, laces, feathers other delicate materials. Of course, Bustier Chair or attractive Vis-a-vis Bench is not suitable for living and dining areas. But these items will be perfect for a modern boudoir or private bedroom interior.

This Liquid Like Bar Stool was created by American artist and designer Michael Stolworthy by the original production method – sand casting. The stool has unique curvy geometry without any seams and to make it look even more like a fluid substance it’s polished to glossiness. There are four versions of the stool: chrome, gloss black, wood finish and red anodized aluminum. Contemporary eye-catching look and shiny finish would complement well to many modern bar interiors. For example I believe that the serous bar stool would look great in the La Nova night club inspired by ice caverns that we have recently reviewed.

Dan McCabe is an artist who just loves the combination of metals and also loves to turn it into works of art. We give you an example of his mastery in steel and bronze. We all wear masks, all the time. No matter how we look from the outside, our inner world is hidden from the relatives. This is probably the philosophy behind this project by Fabio Novembre. Judging from his website, this artist is a little bit crazy in a good way, making him create the furniture that is really unique in it’s concept and look. The NEMO mask chair looks like a sculpture of woman’s face and has enough space to accommodate and completely hide a person behind that mask. It gives a sense of mystery and beauty to your interior or patio, magically turning your house to the theatrical scene. The chair is designed to be used outside and inside alike; rotational moulded polyethylene is extremely weatherproof.

The MUS is a furniture collection perfect for any contemporary living room. It was designed by Spanish designer Francesc Rifé for KOO International. The MUS sofa looks quite simple because it makes up from a low wooden base and the cushions on top of it. The sticking out edges of wooden platform are perfect places to put flower pots or something else to decorate the room. The sofa comes in modules that can be assembled together to form the L-sofa. It doesn’t only looks great, but also very comfortable – you can spend hours in a half-lying position this sofa provides. The collection also includes coffee tables, side tables and auxiliary accessories such as garden boxes and magazine racks.
