Daring sofa made of coins by Johnny Swing: Be The King

It is not a secret that money is desired by almost everybody. People can’t live without it though money does not bring happiness. Money makes us more powerful, it is a symbol of domination. Many people are fond of collecting different coins. But not many of them create something beautiful to decorate the house. Artist Johnny Swing recently gave a new meaning to the idea of having money. He used different values and dimensions of coins to form a beautiful sofa. This curvy coin piece of furniture will give you the feeling of glam and luxury in your own home. An underside steel rod support helps all the coins take the shape of a  sofa. The artist created an amazing visual and metaphorical concept. The dimensions are 97 x 52 x 28 inches. This unusual sofa gives the idea of richness and makes you think that you can be a monarch. So if you want to impress your guests you won’t be mistaken choosing it for your interior.

Grass Sculptures at the Invisible Dog Gallery

These amazing sculptures were exhibited in Brooklyn, New York, at the Invisible Dog Gallery. They are made of soil with wheat seeds applied to the skeletons of recycled metal. Wheat grows over time, constantly changing the way the sculptures look. At the pictures wheat grass is green and short, but we wonder how the sculptures would look when it’ll grow more and eventually become yellow. This creative idea belongs to the mixed media artist Mathilde Roussel-Giraudy and her envelope is that what we eat becomes a part of our being. The food impacts on every part of our body and mind.

An Unusual Air Plants by Michael McDowell

Have you ever seen hanging air plant pods which are very similar to some strange octopuses? The American designer Michael McDowell began to create different interior styles using the idea of these air plants. The difference between them and the octopuses is that they like air not the water. Moreover they cannot survive contacting the mater. If you don’t want to hang them in your house it may be a perfect solution for the outside interior. You can also simply lay them on the table.

This idea will make the design of your house more alive, colorful and unusual. Hanging air plant pods will attract the sight of yours and your guests. They look especially good at the soft and modest or even some austere background. Make your interior harmonic with the help of these unusual plants.
