The Modern Villa Eindhoven is situated in the Netherlands between the neighboring backyards and a public parking lot. Interesting fact, that it’s practically invisible from noisy street. The exterior of two-storied house is clad in white plaster. Lots of panoramic windows create a contemporary look and let us see children playing. It was used a lot of luxurious materials in interior, such as black ebony wood , huge aluminum frames. On the ground floor there is a living room, a kitchen and an office chamber. Unusual partition between the private sleeping rooms and the living rooms is designed as a long black cabinet wall, running through the whole house. Bedrooms, laundry room and playrooms are situated on the higher level.

We’ve found this cool interior on the web a couple of days ago and we loved it from the first sight. Think of how cozy and warm it would be to hide there from the freezing cold Ottawa’s winter outside. Charming cats all over the place unwittingly show how comfy this residence is. We especially loved the shelf on the fifth picture and the variety of pictures and paintings on the walls. The kitchen stools look extraordinary, just like many other furniture pieces in this place, actually. The interior gets completed by the set of pillows and a couple of animal skins.

The Brick House is a web blog started by Morgan Satterfield and her boyfriend Jeremy Chlebik. They are writing about their own house and what they do to make it better. Remodeling began back in 2008, still goes on and to Morgan it seems like she would like to do that forever. And why not if this hobby makes her house better and doesn’t costs too much – she has a rule of $100 which means that she doesn’t spends more than that on one item. But most of the thing they do themselves and with the help of their family and friends. It’s hard to believe all that when you look at the pictures – the interior Morgan created is great and it’s amazing how many great ideas she found. If you are going to remodel your home in near future you should definitely refer to her blog here.

Take a guess about where this nice house is located. I don’t know about you, but I subconsciously feel by looking at the pictures that this is a British house. Maybe that’s because there is a plenty of neoclassical elements and this style has been popular in Britain for ages and still is, actually. There is a very original mixture of neoclassical and modern styles, the interior looks sober and calm. The only thing that we don’t get is how those floral-laced chairs are supposed to fit in to the interior, I guess the designers had to put that white-blue bowl in the kitchen to justify the chairs. The kitchen is rather good, black tiles contrast well with white surroundings and it seems to be very comfortable to cook in.

Alanna Davey is a stylist and interior designer in Toronto. We already reviewed quite a lot of interior designs, like this outstanding work by Yabu Pushelberg, but this Lady’s works are not just professional, but also very cheerful and cozy. You would never be unhappy while living in such a bright residence. She uses a wide variety of tricks and styles, absorbed from many cultures, ranging from neoclassical style like the one on the last picture, to the modern cozy style. We also loved some of the furniture on those pictures, like this original stand on the third picture.
