Sonya Winner  is a British rug designer whose rugs showcase her rare talent to mix different colors. That's why her handmade items look more like unique works of art than rugs or wall hangings. Wessels Joyce Associates has completed a project of a house they designed in Knysna, South Africa. The mansion consists of a few blocks and has a very open plan. You can see on photos all of exterior is glassed, that creates a feeling of lightness and provides magnificent views everywhere. The interior is designed in modern style, bright colors are dominated there, but dark accents like columns, fireplaces or textiles add some originality. Sun House is a truly magnificent project from Guz Architects. The mansion is located in Singapore and by local standards, is fairly compact. Due to L-shape the architects free up more space for the inner courtyard. There is a swimming pool with an unusual turquoise water and beautiful pond. The building is a continuation of the garden, living area has open plan and direct access to the patio. Stairs, leading to the second floor, is located right on the street, that creates the feeling of unity with nature. In addition to all the owner of the residence is an art collector. Therefore, in the interior you can see plenty of sculptures and paintings.

Are you a real wine lover? Wine collecting is a complex and interesting process. Many famous people have their own vineyards or just collection of masterpieces of world winemaking over the years. Let's look at the imagination of designers. We are glad to present a creative selection of wood, plastic or steel wine shelves and racks. These furniture pieces could be modern or classic, but they are all beautiful. On the first photo you can see the Bent-Wood Wine Rack designed by Alberto Mantilla, Scott Henderson and Anthony Baxter. The rack can hold all the wine you need, as the twisting shapes of birch and walnut hold six standard bottles and one Magnum in the center.

James D. LaRue Architects  has completed an amazing project of residential Westlake Drive house in Austin, Texas. The elegant building is located on a steep slope and a bridged entry leads directly into a glass-walled living area that overlooks the expansive golf course below. The total area of ??Westlake Drive is 440 sq.m. The mansion consists of three separate blocks, which are connected by bridges, bays and even a mini-streets. On the territory there is also a beautiful garden. Stone structures are distinguished by a large number of windows and glass elements (bridges, terraces and stairs), which creates an interesting contrast between the brutality and fragility, the massiveness and weightlessness. And despite all its architectural complexity and intricacy, the mansion Westlake Drive blends well with the surrounding nature.
