Flowers in the Sand by Yukihiro Kaneuchi
Bou-Taoshi is a Japanese game that is used as the basis of the design of the series of vases "Sand". Yukihiro Kaneuchi has designed these vases as a reflection of this game. The rules of the game are simple. The first player makes a heap of sand and places a branch of flower on the top. Then the players by turn begin to remove sand; the one who causes the flower to fall is a loser. Not only children who are interested in the sandy entertainment, but also adults. In several Japanese temples the conic shape represents where God first came in the mythological age.

Futuristic Wash basin Integrated into the Wall: by Antonio Lupi
Antonio Lupi has presented new futuristic wash basin, which is perfectly integrated into the wall. It seemed nothing new can come up with bathroom products and accessories. But this bathroom sink, ironically named "Silenzio" (Silence), caused a sensation not only in bathroom products' industry, but in the aesthetic impact of design too. To match the design of the room, after the installation the sink should be painted in the color of the walls such a way as if it has merged with the surface. Special effect produces integrated system illumination. If one stands directly perpendicular to the wall in front of the sink, only lighting lets you know about the presence of the sink.

House with an Office by Egeon Architecten
Instead of planning a home office on the ground floor of a three-storey house in Amsterdam, architects Egeon Architecten have arranged the a private entrance to the building, so that members of the household can avoid meeting with business partners of the head of the family. The most unusual architectural detail of the house of 225 square meters area- is the outer spiral staircase built into the rectangular aperture on the main facade. The aperture leads to the terrace, which is connected to the home office. Thus, the visitors can be unnoticed for the rest of the family. The glass facade of the ground floor provides the beautiful views for the residents. There are a dining room, living room, kitchen and service rooms here. The first floor has three bedrooms and a bathroom. The second - as it already was mentioned - is designed for the office. The main materials of the project are timber and glass. The timber frame house has a heat pump and underfloor heating, natural ventilation, special heat-resistant glass, a sedum roof. Due to these features a low level energy consumption is realized.
